There’s this sort of ring you can hear when a musician can play a dissonant chord and still make it sound right. There’s this unfamiliar moment of clarity when a singer can harmonize properly with another.
Well I guess you can say that there is no perfect mesh or “ring” when you find a person you like. There is always going to be struggle, and little problems will find a way to escalate into bigger ones. Well no one ever harmonizes perfectly or blends with another without practice and years of work. Sometimes it takes a lifetime to get that perfect sound.
But in the end it must be worth it. That little ring…yeah, that small moment of perfection and that wonderful blend of different chords, feelings, emotions…it can mean the whole world to the two who’ve worked to make it happen.
Lets make some music.
